COVID-19 Update: Goodwood Kartways Announces Open Lapping for Arrive-and-Drive Members in Limited Capacity

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Thursday, May 21, 2020

After two successful days of limited track action and having tested its procedures for the re-introduction of safe and socially distant karting operations, the staff at Goodwood Kartways is now getting set to progress to Step 2, once again in a controlled environment with limited capacity. With safety once again being the number-one priority, Goodwood is now releasing its protocols that will allow registered drivers from the Canadian Rookie Karting Championship to get back on track!

Lapping sessions will be available to 2020 CRKC Members who have completed the registration process. Those who have not, are reminded they must complete the ‘remote’ Open House procedures prior to booking any track time, and fully understand new safety protocols prior to arriving at the track. Full details are linked below.

As we have made all aware in correspondence during the COVID-19 Pandemic, we have been strategically planning for this time for a number of weeks, and that includes the progressive steps in all Goodwood Kartways operations. We have established very clear expectations around visiting the facility, and are confident we meet and exceed regulations issued by the Ontario Government.
