Attention CRKC Participants: Open House Sessions Start Next Weekend!

Attention CRKC Arrive-and-Drive Racers,

With the month of March approaching, preparations for the upcoming season are well underway! Next up, the first of six ‘Open House’ sessions dedicated to completing your registration. Open House sessions kick off next weekend. Stop by anytime between 12pm-4pm on either Saturday March 8^th or Sunday March 9^th to complete your registration. Read below for full details.

On behalf of Goodwood Kartways and our staff, we would like to take this opportunity to personally welcome you as a participant in the 2025 Canadian Rookie Karting Championship (CRKC).  Whether you are new to our program or are returning for another exciting year of racing, we thank you for your participation and wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season.

If you have received this package your membership is reserved for the 2025 season. If you have not yet paid for your CRKC membership, you may do so during one of the following OPEN HOUSE sessions.

Attendance to one of the following OPEN HOUSE sessions is mandatory for ALL registered members. During the OPEN HOUSE session members will be asked to pick their racing schedule of choice, complete their driver weigh-in, and have their photo taken for their annual racing licence. Please note that our staff will make every effort to accommodate your personal schedule. Attendance to one of the first four OPEN HOUSE sessions will guarantee the racing schedule of your choice.

OPEN HOUSE SESSIONS: (Schedule selection, driver weigh-in & Photo ID)

IMPORTANT:

• Regardless if you are a new member or a returning member, ALL members must personally attend one of the OPEN HOUSE sessions. Simply drop in anytime between the hours listed above.  The process will take roughly 30min.
• Please note that Sessions 5 & 6 are designed for make-up purposes only. To guarantee your schedule and the delivery of any equipment purchases please make every effort to attend Sessions 1 to 4.
• For insurance requirements, all members must pay a deposit (equal to two (2) racing pit pass fees) up front at the OPEN HOUSE. This fee is put on file and is returned to the member at the end of the season in accordance with Section 6 of the Rules & Regulation package.
• All members are required to own a karting specific neck support which will be on sale during the OPEN HOUSE for $39.99 (Regular Price $59.99).
• All members will be issued a Photo ID licence for $10 at the OPEN HOUSE. This ID card must be presented at registration prior to all on track activities in 2025.

The CRKC is a competitive kart racing program. As a member of the CRKC, you are required to read and understand the CRKC Rules & Regulations package. This package is posted on the information board at the track or available on-line at www.goodwoodkartways.com.

At Goodwood Kartways we strive to create the ultimate racing experience. With a safety first approach, everything is provided for our members to go racing. A big emphasis is put on training and instruction. Each of the seven racing schedules begins with mandatory on-track and in-class training. Our series is organized like any other professional form of racing but designed to cater to the rookie and/or beginner.

Members must dress for the weather with no skin exposed. One-piece racing suits are required along with any type of glove.  Thin sole running shoes are recommended and a neck support is mandatory.

To promote safety, Goodwood Kartways has OPEN HOUSE specials on all racing equipment. Members may choose to purchase their own personal racing equipment to be worn on all on-track activities. These discounts will be available during the OPEN HOUSE sessions only. Please review the OPEN HOUSE specials below.

Please note that sanitized helmet and racing suit rentals are available to all participants. Neck supports are mandatory and must be provided by the member. If you plan on renting our equipment, balaclavas and rib protectors are recommended. Members must take safety seriously.

All registered members must complete the attached CRKC Driver Information Sheet (Front and Back) and submit it at the OPEN HOUSE. Please come prepared with the DRIVER MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION section of the form completed. The rest of the form must be completed on site at the OPEN HOUSE with the assistance of a Goodwood Kartways staff member.

Enclosed in this package you will also find the RACING EQUIPMENT PRE-ORDER SPECIALS order form. As previously mentioned many items on the form are optional but are on sale at the OPEN HOUSE only. All racing equipment will be on display at the OPEN HOUSE for sizing purposes.

You will also find a copy of the 2025 Canadian Rookie Karting Championship Open Practice & Racing Schedule. There are seven schedules to choose from and all races are scheduled on a bi-weekly basis. Please choose one of the schedules (1-7) which best suits your personal schedule. In addition to the bi-weekly race events, Goodwood Kartways organizes Special Events open to all CRKC members. Enquire about the 2025 Special Events at the OPEN HOUSE to take advantage of huge discounts.
