For Immediate Release: December 4th, 2021
On-track activities may have just ended for the season, however with the snow here to stay, Goodwood Kartways has been busy preparing for what is sure to be another action packed schedule in 2022. November projects include confirmation of the 2022 Goodwood Kartways Scholarship Team, assembly of our NEW Arrive-and-Drive Racing Kart Fleet, and the opening of 2022 registration for both the Toronto Racing Association of Karters and the Canadian Rookie Karting Championship! Goodwood Kartways Announces 2022 Scholarship Team: 41 Arrive-and-Drive graduates committed to moving up to TRAK Club Racing competition for next season. Coming off our most successful GKST campaign, the program looks to carry on with momentum. In the thirteen year existence of the CRKC program, this year’s group represents the largest graduating class ever, by far! Fourty-one drivers have committed to make the jump to TRAK for 2022, including 11 in Briggs Cadet, 10 in Briggs Junior Lite, 2 in Briggs Junior, 6 in Briggs Senior, 8 in Briggs Masters and 4 in VLR Masters! Karts have been ordered and the team will begin preparation for the upcoming season beginning in December through off-season seminars.
As the saying goes, ‘Better late than never’. After extensive shipping delays due to Covid-19, our new fleet of Arrive-and-Drive Racing karts have arrived. Assembly is well underway and like all of our members, we simply can’t wait to get the new fleet on track. Stay tuned for the 2022 schedule which will include a few very popular events!
