Attention: ALL CRKC Members,
After successfully completing the ‘On-Track Training’ events for ALL seven (7) independent schedules, we are back at it tonight with our mandatory ‘Exhibition Race’ format for ALL rookies and/or beginners. Tonight’s event is for Monday (Schedule 1) drivers, ALL ‘Exhibition Race’ events will take place over the next two weeks for the other six remaining schedules.
Here is what you need to know: We look forward to seeing you on your scheduled day of choice. (Click HERE for the 2024 CRKC Schedule and specifically the date for your Exhibition Race.) Just a reminder some of these events do not follow their normal biweekly schedules as we are preparing to host a National race event next week.
Our Exhibition Race events are open to ALL registered CRKC Members and ‘mandatory’ for all first-year drivers. The ‘Exhibition Race’ is a training-based event. After a round of open practice, all drivers will participate in a 30 minute ‘in-class’ drivers meeting. The briefing will take place outside the Registration Office (please come prepared for the weather) and will cover topics specific to racing procedures, formats, rules and regulations. Following the drivers briefing, drivers will be directed back to the paddock and will look forward to completing a qualifying session followed by a race session. The idea of this event is to give our new members the opportunity to do a ‘trial run’ of what a normal race day will look like – without the added pressure of points and/or awards. This ‘trial run’ will provide learning opportunities as we continue to prepare rookie drivers for the regular season.
Upon arrival, please proceed immediately to the Club House (building at the top of the hill) for registration. All pre-ordered and rental equipment will be available for pick up at registration. Once registered, drivers will be directed to the paddock area where we will start open practice sharply at the times shown below.
