As Briggs & Stratton LO206 Racing continues to grow across the province of Ontario, the Champion Ron Fellows Karting Challenge stands out as the premier series for four-cycle competition. Generating massive fields throughout the Briggs’ categories since its inception, organizers are now excited to introduce a special event for the supporting masses: Briggs & Stratton SummerFest Presented By PFAFF Motorsports.
Intentionally, the event is exclusive to Briggs’ racers, and limited to just five championship categories in order to put an emphasis on showcasing Briggs & Stratton racing and generate a who’s-who showdown in four-cycle karting. It will follow a unique format and obviously have increased track time for each competing class.
“We want this to become the biggest four-cycle karting event in the country,” stated event organizer Daniel Di Leo. “We’re looking to create a very special event that Briggs’ racers can look to annually as their Super Bowl of karting. Increased track time, a unique format and a great prize package that includes Briggs & Stratton Power Equipment as well as cash prizes are just a few of the incentives that we hope will attract Briggs’ drivers from home and abroad to our first annual event this year.”
The event is a one-day stand alone affair, and will take place at Mosport Kartways Sunday, August 21st, immediately following Round 3 of the Champion Ron Fellows Karting Challenge which runs on the Saturday. ‘SummerFest Sunday’ is being made possible with continued support from Champion Spark Plugs, Ron Fellows, Briggs & Stratton Racing and PFAFF Motorsports. Each has been a major contributor to an impressive prize package.
