Introducing the 2026 Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) Club Racing Schedule

February 26, 2026, All News

The 2026 karting season is fast approaching, and Goodwood Kartways is thrilled to announce the Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) Club Racing schedule. This year marks an exciting milestone, as TRAK enters its 18th season with an updated calendar full of new opportunities, thrilling events, and continued commitment to innovation in the sport.

A Look Back and Forward: TRAK’s Legacy

Since its inception in 2008, TRAK has been at the forefront of karting development in Ontario. Built on a foundation of promoting the sport, fostering talent, and offering a platform for competitive racing, TRAK has led the way for karting enthusiasts to grow their skills. Now, nearly two decades in, we’re proud to continue pushing the limits of the karting experience for all members.

What’s New for 2026?

The 2026 schedule strikes the perfect balance of variety and quality. For the first time, we’re introducing an unofficial ‘Summer Break’, offering families a scheduled pause from July 20th to August 3rd. This two-week break not only provides a much-needed opportunity for families to recharge before the intensity of the second half of the season, but also allows for planning that special family vacation or adventure away from the racetrack—something just as important as the racing itself. The response to this idea has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re eager to see how it enhances the experience for everyone involved.

In addition to this exciting new change, we’re once again teaming up with the top facilities across Ontario to deliver a dynamic series of events, designed to offer cross-track competition. Get ready for more opportunities to race against a diverse range of competitors, including through the Inter-Club Challenge. With the return of KartStars Canada and the highly anticipated KartStars National Championship Bear Hunt—now with an exciting new twist—there’s plenty to look forward to this season. Stay tuned for more details!

2026 Season Highlights

We’re kicking off the season with TRAK Spring Training and Rookie Orientation on April 4th, followed by the first official race weekend on April 11th. The Goodwood Kartways Night Race, known for its high energy and electric atmosphere, will take place under the lights on September 19th. To cap off the season, we’ll end with the infamous Attrition Fest Enduro—a demanding 3-hour endurance race on November 1st that will test the limits of both drivers and teams.

A Season Designed for You

At TRAK, we’re committed to providing a well-rounded racing experience that offers both competitive challenges and opportunities for community building. Our multi-race series within the Club Championship allows members to race across various tracks, competing for points while improving their skills in different environments. This structure promotes growth and brings fresh experiences each time you hit the track.
