Ontario Inter-Club Challenge Kicks Off at Goodwood Kartways!

Fresh off hosting the KartStars Canada program last weekend, Goodwood Kartways is back in the driver’s seat, gearing up for another thrilling event. As Canada’s longest-running karting facility, Goodwood is set to welcome racers for the Ontario Inter-Club Challenge, a Briggs-only showdown that promises high-speed action and friendly rivalry.

As the country’s largest 4-cycle championship, this eagerly anticipated event will bring together drivers from the Mosport International Karting Association (MIKA), the Hamilton Regional Karting Club (HRKC), and host club TRAK – Goodwood Kartways Club Racing Program. Briggs LO206 racers from across Ontario will converge on the historic Uxbridge track—an opportunity to race affordably and competitively.

Ontario karting fans have long called for collaboration among top clubs, and this summer, the “big three” will deliver. TRAK, HRKC, and MIKA will compete head-to-head in a three-race inter-club series that promises thrilling battles and strong grids in every class.

Classes & Highlights:

  • Briggs Cadet: Expect A/B groupings based on driver pace.
  • Junior & Junior Lite: Over 20 entries each already—these classes are shaping up to be stacked!
  • Briggs Senior: Will we see a record-breaking turnout for the third straight year?
  • Briggs Masters: The wildcard class—can the Masters rally to support this affordable series?

 

Event Schedule & Details:

  • Thursday, May 14: Trailer move-in, 10am–6pm (Gates open 10am)
  • Friday, May 15: Unofficial facility practice, 10am–4pm (Gates open 9am)
  • Saturday, May 16: Official series practice, 10am–5:30pm (Gates open 8am)
  • Sunday, May 17: Full day of racing (Gates open 7am)

 

Registration:
Pre-registration closes Friday, May 15 at 8pm. On-site registration is available Saturday and Sunday mornings (late fee applies).
