FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
GOODWOOD, ON — April 7, 2025 — The Toronto Racing Association of Karters (TRAK) officially kicked off the 2026 season with its Annual Spring Training event this past Saturday, delivering an outstanding start despite challenging early-April conditions.
With temperatures dipping below zero and rain in the forecast all afternoon, Ontario’s most dedicated karting families turned out in full force once again demonstrating the continued growth and enthusiasm within the sport.
A major highlight of the day was the success of TRAK’s Rookie Orientation program. A total of 34 new drivers earned their Club Racing Licenses after completing a comprehensive program that included in-class instruction, testing, and on-track evaluation by the officiating team.
“It was fantastic to be back on track,” said organizers. “The energy and passion from our members made it clear just how much everyone has been looking forward to the new season. If only Mother Nature would cooperate with us!”
With Spring Training complete, attention now turns quickly to TRAK Race One, taking place this Saturday, April 11, at Goodwood Kartways. The event will feature the 4th Annual Bruno Polo Memorial Race, serving as the official season opener. [Click HERE for Event Details.]
